ABC’s comedy pilot “The Smart One” has just snagged a sister for lead star Portia de Rossi. The lady in question is Malin Akerman, she of “Children’s Hospital” fame. The show focuses on two feuding sisters, one who is beautiful and smart, one who is beautiful and a bit of an airhead.
This is the show that de Rossi’s wife Ellen de Generes is executive producing along with Don Todd and Lauren Corrao. Here’s hoping this does better than de Rossi’s last two comedy series huh?
