Luke Perry says no Dylan for new 90210

Sorry ladies (and no doubt a few men), it looks like hunky Luke Perry won’t be returning to the re-imagined 90210, despite what recent rumors would have us all believe.

Tongues have been wagging recently that 41-year-old Perry would return to the show as the father of Jennie Garth’s characters son, but it seems that there’s no truth in it whatsoever. Perry’s spokesperson Arnold Robinson states that “This story is not true. Luke is not appearing on the show”. Apparently Perry himself stated that he simply can’t see it happening as he can’t imagine why there’s a need for the show again.

It would have been very cool to have all the original cast members back in some form or another, especially if there was some twisted soap opera like web that had been spun in their time off screen. Oh well, maybe when they eventually throw enough money at him, he’ll suddenly be able to ‘re-imagine’ it.
