LOST’s Gin aka Daniel Dae Kim headed to Hawaii 5-0

Handsome rogue actor Daniel Dae Kim looks set to stay in Hawaii after LOST ends, thanks to a role in the upcoming remake of Hawaii 5-0. Kim has apparently been tapped to play one of the cops on the new series, namely a Detective Chin Ho Kelly. It’s not the lead role, but it’s a good role and it means Kim won’t have to relocate which means less stress for the actor.

There’s no firm news on who is going to take the male lead - that of Dano - in the series, but the rumormill is still bouncing around the name Alex O’Loughlin. He’s not had much luck recently with lead roles lasting, so hopefully this one will work out. It’s a cop show, and it sounds like they’re going for the young, handsome, hip factor. Hopefully there will be a kick ass chick in there too. We’ll let you know when the other roles are taken up and by whom.
