Not the fringe of weirdness, like on LOST, but to the show Fringe, that new J. J. Abrams x-files ripoff FBI show. Jeff Pinkner has been chosen to head up the show which is expected to launch later this year (we hope). Pinkner is no stranger to working on Abrams’ helmed projects given he also worked with Abrams on Alias for ABC and is an executive producer on LOST.
Fringe differs from other FBI agent / cop TV series as the lead protagonist is female, which makes a nice change. Also she’s played by the gorgeous Anna Torv, so that will be nice. Other actors to have signed on include Joshua Jackson, probably best known to TV viewers as the lovable rogue Pacey in Dawson’s Creek.
I’m looking forward to Fringe, I hope it doesn’t suck.
