NBC has given the greenlight for a pilot of Dick Wolf helmed drama series Lost and Found. Surprisingly this is another female led series – yay! – about a quirky homicide detective who uses off the book means to solve crimes. Sounds like she’d be a good match for quirky detective Charlie Crews in another NBC series Life. Given he’s a quirky detective that uses odd means to solve crimes I’d be sensing crossover potential if only Life was still filming.
Lost and Found will have a pilot penned by Chris Levinson, she’ll also executive produce. Levinson has worked with Dick Wolf previously and they’ve been a good pairing. Dick Wolf is most famous for his work on Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU and a multitude of other series, so this one might be really cool.
