Classic British TV comedy ‘Little Britain’ will have a new face in the village when it films in Los Angeles soon. Former Friends star David Schwimmer will be directing the Los Angeles filmed parts of the new HBO show.
Basically, the show is the U.S. version of the original BBC show, but thankfully it’s retaining its main stars, Matt Lucas and David Walliams. They’re filming at the moment in North Carolina and are sure to carry on their cult success in the U.S. when the show airs later in the year.
Confirmed guests so far for Schwimmers directorial section are Sting and Rosie O’Donnell. No doubt more stars will be added to that list over the next few weeks. Schwimmer is directing the show hot off the heels of his hit feature film directorial debut ‘Run Fatboy Run’.
Didn’t Schwimmer and Walliams both date Natalie Imbruglia? Could make for some interesting boy talk. Maybe she just likes boys with ‘D’ names.
