Leno Leaves NBC For Good

No matter what NBC offer him, it looks like Jay Leno is heading to new pastures. His time with NBC will definitely be over next year when Conan O’Brien is taking over as host of The Tonight Show.

Although NBC are keen to have Leno stay with them in any capacity, it seems old Jay wants a change of scene. He hasn’t actually stated he’ll be retiring, just that he’ll be moving on to something else and he’ll be fine.

There are rumors he’ll end up at ABC, but at the moment, they’re completely unsubstantiated. Wherever he does end up going, there’s no doubt Leno will be a hit. He’s got a certain laidback coolness about him that other talk-show hosts could well do with. I’m just not a fan of Conan taking on The Tonight Show, maybe that’s just me.
