Legend of the Seeker hits sydication November 1

Fantasy TV and films buffs prepare to drool. Disney has released a new publicity photo (above) for “Legend of the Seeker”, a new syndicated - live action - fantasy series by Sam Raimi of Spiderman fame. Legend of the Seeker is actually based on Terry Goodkind’s Wizard’s First Rule and The Sword of Truth which we covered here previously.

The series stars Craig Horner as the main protagonist Richard Cypher and Bridget Regan as the mysterious Kahlan Amnell. The plot sounds like it could be easily squeezed into a tabletop role-playing session, but given Goodkind and Raimi are involved, this might actually be pretty good.

The one-hour drama is set to air in syndication Nov 1.
