Well it’s nice to know with all the big names exiting CSI that at least a little ray of sunshine like Lauren Lee Smith is joining the cast. If the name isn’t familiar she’s probably best known as her role of Emma in Mutant X, or Lara Perkins (aka The Soup chef) in Showtime’s lesbian series The L Word.
Lauren Lee Smith will be joining the cast of CSI as a new regular character on the show. She’s hired by Grissom to work the night shift and her character will be a bit sassy and smart.
Personally I prefer Lauren Lee Smith when she isn’t over the top sexy. She was really cute as Lara Perkins in The L Word for example, not so in that god awful movie ‘Lie With Me’ which hit headlines for featuring ‘real’ sex scenes. My mind will be forever scarred by that film, I want those 90 minutes of my life back.
