Lauren Graham is one of those extremely underrated actresses in my opinion. In her seven year run on Gilmore Girls, Graham showed what a likeable personality she is and how she has a great ability at making people laugh. Since then, she’s appeared in a few movies where she’s more often than not pushed to the side in favor of the ‘main star’. Seems that it’s about time for her to return to regular work though with the news that she’s going to be starring in and producing a new sitcom for ABC.
The new show is as yet unnamed, but will be co-produced with Will and Grace writer Alex Herschlag. Graham will star as a self-help guru who has some problems following her own advice after her boyfriend ends their relationship. ABC have committed production to the comedy which should show up in 2009. Hopefully this will be a welcome return to the small screen for Graham, who truly deserves to be one of our leading TV funny ladies.
