Larry David pees off the Catholics

This might be considered to have spoilers, so if you don’t want to know, you have been warned. The latest episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm seems to be getting quite the backlash from more than a few Catholics. In the episode Larry David accidentally sprays an image of Jesus with urine and in failing to wipe it his assistant thinks the image is crying. It’s the peeing on Jesus and not wiping it off that’s got Mr David into bother with Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League.

According to Donohue “David’s best years are behind him” Donohue said, adding “he ought to quit while he’s ahead.” Well Mr Donohue having seen the episode and actually having a humor gland I think you’re being a bit touchy, it was standard David fare. If anything the episode just pointed out how ridiculous some of these ‘miracles’ are that end up on ebay or the news and elsewhere. If anyone should be upset it’s all those people that jump on issues of obesity, that was the true large issue in the episode (large wasn’t a pun… oh heck.. I guess it was).
