The modern-day version of “Green Arrow” just got its female lead in the form of “Gossip Girl” star Katie Cassidy. Needless to say being as how this is a super hero series, Cassidy will play the ‘romantic interest’, don’t all yawn at once, a male super hero type needs some arm candy.
The eponymous hero is being played by Stephen Amell, the handsome / hot guy seeing Violet in “Private Practice”. Other casting thus far includes Susannah Thompson as Green Arrow’s mom. Here’s hoping this is better than “The Cape”, yeah, remember that.
