There’s some really horrible news floating around the Internet at the moment that states that Fox reality show American Idol is actually fixed and the final four have already been chosen.
Now, it’s probably not that far from the truth at times that producers of shows will try and steer viewers in one particular way with their votes. Yes, it’s not that unlikely that – at times – if things don’t go their way they’ll fix the votes a little, no matter how underhanded that is. The notion however that the final four are already chosen makes me a little sad.
The alleged final four are Lil’ Rounds, Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace and Adam Lambert. If they make it all the way through no doubt people will be saying it’s fixed now, but to be honest aren’t they the best on there with the most salable stories anyway? I don’t think it’ll be a huge shock if they all make it through, but I will be devastated if Danny Gokey makes it, something about that guy just really irks me (and it’s not just the fact I think of Robert Downey Jr. every time I see him).
