Is it the biggest? I guess so since that’s the blurb they’re running with. Anyone else watching Home Made? I had to watch it when I saw the advert last week and then a friend told me it was made by the same people that made “The Block”, which was an Aussie renovation show from a few years ago where couples redecorated apartments to gain the highest auction price.
In Home Made ten designers (varying in experience) compete for a $100,000 AUD cash prize by making over two suburban family homes each week. Yes two regular family homes, how brave were they for volunteering! Anyway it looks pretty good so far. As gripping as “The Block”? not yet, but it’s okay. As to why they never remade The Block in a new series, who knows, it was a great show.

I congratulate nine for a innovative concept, however what was their brief in recruiting a bunch of seriously stuck up judges.
To be totally honest the wider viewing audience has not heard of them nor do we want to….and magazine editors, please.
Find a better range of judges and while you are at a new host too!
Do not be scared to make changes and try again, and again until you get the right mix.
Why not repeat a top rating success like ‘The Block’ if ratings are all that you want?
