Heroes in more bother. How long before Heroes is axed?

Heroes in trouble again

Oh dear, all isn’t well over at the Heroes camp. They are now two producers down as NBC has fired Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb. Both have been with the show since day one, but it seems that the negative press recently has led to a bit of a shake-up.

The show has been suffering from falling ratings and plenty of criticism recently, including an Entertainment Weekly special on how to fix it and bring it back to it’s season 1 glory, so it’s no surprise that someone’s head was about to roll.

Seems that Universal aren’t too happy with the cost of the show and the direction it’s taking so the producers were the first to go. No news yet on who might follow, but hopefully they’ll cull some of the cast. There are way too many characters on that show and it’s becoming dull. Let’s see what happens for the next season.
