Who knew a show about pawning your unwanted items could run three seasons! “Hardcore Pawn” is just that, placed squarely in the docu / reality style. The series is produced by Richard Dominick Productions and Zodiak USA for truTV. The show follows the day-to-day running of a pawn shop in Detroit.
The third season of the show is set to start in mid-February and will run for 13 episodes. Surprisingly the show brings in quite the audience, even setting records for the network. Detractors of the series though suggest it’s a cheap knock-off of the History Channel series “Pawn Stars”, I can’t comment as I haven’t seen either, but reading some press releases kind of make me wish I had.
