Greatest American ‘Heroes’ William Katt

Apparently William Katt, who starred in the classic TV show ‘The Greatest American Hero’, will be brushing off his superhero outfit to make an appearance on Heroes next season.

Possible spoiler ahead….
Katt is set to play a guest starring role as a reporter who is chasing Nikki (played by the gorgeous Ali Larter). This of course is good news for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s sort of cool having the oldskool hero in with the new ones and secondly, Nikki is presumably still alive. After it looking like she was toast last season, this news breathes renewed hope into the show and fans can cheer once more.

The character he plays is a seedy “smarmy-mouthed reporter” according to Katt himself and it sounds like he had a blast on set. Maybe Tim Kring (Heroes writer) is bringing it back from the brink after a dire second season of the hit TV show. We can but hope!
