Ahh Genie Francis, how I liked your work in ‘North and South’, all those years ago. There’s something so amiable and sweet about Genie Francis that it’s almost borderline nauseating, but in a good way.
Francis is probably best known for her role as Laura Webber Spencer in General Hospital, a role she played for some 28 years on and off. It seems Genie can’t get enough of the Hospital walls as she makes a brief return to US screens in the series August 26.
TV geeks (like me) might also be interested in the fact Genie Francis is wife to Star Trek The Next Generation’s ‘Number One’ actor Jonathan Frakes. The couple have two children and have been married since 1988, that must be a Hollywood record almost.
