Gene Simmons does Jingles

You may recall we reported on ‘Jingles’ back in mid April, well now we’ve got more details for you. Yes, it is another reality TV show and it’s still all about TV advertising jingles. Yes, you read it correctly, it’s not the next American Idol, it’s the next big thing in jingle makers they’re looking for.

Where the change comes in is that CBS has now lined up Kiss star Gene Simmons as one of the judges. It’s premise is still that contestants have to write lyrics and music to jingles and the best one gets a contract with an advertising agency and $100,.000 cash, but now they have to do it and be judged by Simmons.

Having Simmons on the show is sure to pull in a few viewers and in fairness the guy who made it has also been behind The Apprentice, Survivor and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader so he has a pretty good record. Let’s see if Simmons can stay awake long enough to judge the show – yes, I am referring to his recent sex tape adventure. Wrong, just so wrong.
