Fringe gets second season

I am thrilled with this news, it has to be said, I even let out a little “squee!!” when it crossed my desk this morning. Fox has ordered a further 22 episodes of supernatural spy fest Fringe. I have to say I was getting a little worried with the first season coming to a close in a couple of weeks and no word from Fox on a second season. Whew!

Agent Dunham (Aussie actress Anna Torv), Walter Bishop (Aussie actor John Noble) and Peter Bishop (Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson) will all be back in the series along with Star Trek Legend Leonard Nimoy who will be making a gust appearance. We’ve heard Nimoy’s character mentioned numerous times, so it will be interesting when we finally see him.
