Fox has ordered a full season of J. J. Abrams sci fi / drama seris “Fringe” and I’ve done a little dance to celebrate. Fox ordered an additional 9 episodes bringing the season up to a full whopping 22 episodes. This means all the more adventures from our intrepid team led by the gorgeous Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham.
“Fringe” started off on dodgy territory with the ratings analysts, but it’s pull through to be the top rated new show this season in the US and it’s doing a fine job here in Australia too. The series debuts this weekend on UK screens, so if you’re in the UK, be sure and tune in and stick with it and you won’t be disappointed, particularly if you like those early X-Files episodes.
I agree with the comments re the removal of “Fringe.” I sent a fax to Channel 9 in Adelaide and am still waiting on a reply. The question that I put to them was, was Fringe coming back this Summer(after ratings) or do I have to obtain it on DVD when and if it is released. At least “Canal Road” was given a small chance of survival by putting it on at 10:30pm and not just removing it without a word.
