This news is kind of sad, it seems the pilot for upcoming J. J. Abrams – X-Files / Alias – show ‘Fringe’ has leaked online three months before the series is set to premiere on TV screens. Sure it’s great for fans to see it early, but also kind of ruins it.
There’s quite a bit of speculation surrounding the leak with torrent users alleging it was FOX themselves that leaked the pilot to help build buzz about the show, though that sounds like hooey to me. Despite the internet being a great vehicle for buzz promotion, you’d think releasing it to the masses like this would only damage the show on release.
Whatever the case I’m still looking forward to seeing Anna Torv on screen again, the woman is talented with a capital ‘T’… for Torv… maybe.
