Flight of the Conchords Migrate for Good

Sadly it looks like the unusual Flight of the Conchords will be no more. The upcoming season of the show on HBO looks to be the last from Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement.

The guys have confirmed they’re having difficulty making the second season and are creatively struggling with new songs. Seems they’re starting songs and then hitting some kind of writers block where they just never seem to finish them.

Looks like they won’t be back in these roles for a while, if at all, which is a real shame. Hopefully the boys will rediscover some of the creativity again and wow us with a whole new season of songs, but until then, we’ll all just have to watch reruns and scour YouTube for rare footage.
