Well well, the Cyrus clan are doing well for themselves aren’t they? As if having singing starlet Miley Cyrus in the family wasn’t enough for Billy Ray Cyrus, he’s now ‘helping’ his son Trace become famous too.
Syfy has announced that they’ll be launching a new paranormal reality show starring Billy Ray Cyrus and son Trace. It’s apparently going to be called UFO: Unbelievably Freakin’ Obvious and it will have the twosome investigating a bunch of creepy unexplained phenomena that occurs throughout the US. As both are skeptical by nature, they’ll be offering their opinions and solutions to some of the cases and it seems Billy Ray has always been interested in this kind of thing.
Maybe I’m extremely cynical, but why on earth would the Syfy channel choose these two to embark on this voyage into conspiracy theories, cover-ups and paranormal phenomena. Even with Billy Ray’s suggestion that his son is also really into this type of thing, it still seems like Syfy are basically clinging onto the Miley Cryus brand and hoping it’ll work.
