CW Halts 90210 Screeners

It’s usually not a great move when a TV network decides not to send out screeners of an upcoming show and it’s a bit of a worry when the show is getting as much hype before airing as the new 90210 spin-off series.

The CW and CBS has decided to make the ‘strategic marketing decision’ not to screen 90210 for any media ahead of its highly anticipated premiere. According to the press from The CW, they’re ‘not hiding anything’, but it does sound a little like they’re slightly concerned about critics and press reaction to the show before it airs to the public.

We’ll just have to wait and see how good the show actually is when it hits our screens soon, but don’t The CW realize that now they’ve sown the seed of doubt in all our minds?
