Courtney Cox moves to Cougar Town

Not one to wallow in despair after the cancellation of her series ‘Dirt’ on FX, Courtney Cox is jumping back on the TV bandwagon in a new show called Cougar Town.

Cox will star in the show as a 40-year-old woman who is recently single and on the prowl for a man. She’ll be executive producing alongside Bill Lawrence who is of course the creator of hit show Scrubs.

Cox recently just filmed a guest appearance on Scrubs and Lawrence was actually a writer on Friends in the first season, so their professional relationship is well and truly cemented. It will be interesting to see if Cox does well in this TV venture and hopefully she will – at least she’s doing something, unlike some of the other Friends cast.
