Courtney B. Vance Joins Angela Bassett on ER

For lots of people, the thought of working alongside their husband or wife is either a fantastic prospect or a fate worse than death. Seems that Courtney B. Vance subscribes to the former way of thinking as he’s joining his gorgeous wife Angela Bassett as a new attending on ER.

Vance will be appearing on a recurring basis as a new attending County General and he’ll be playing the onscreen husband of Bassetts ‘troubled’ new attending. It’ll be the first time they’ve both appeared together on the TV screen, previously appearing together only on the big screen in the 1995 film Panther.

Looks like they’re trying all they can to keep the viewers tuning in for ER’s fifteenth and final season, hopefully Bassett and Vance can bring some chemistry back into ER before it leaves our screens for good.
