Come Dine With Me US version

NBC and Granada America are working on a new reality TV show featuring celebrities that is based on the successful UK show ‘Come Dine With Me’.

For those who don’t know anything about the show, Come Dine With Me is a strangely addictive show that puts five people together that don’t know each other and they all have to throw a dinner party during the course of the week for all the others. They’re then judged by the other guests and whoever scores the highest overall receives a cash prize.

It seems that normal people just aren’t quite interesting enough however for NBC, so they’ve decided to make the show with celebrities instead. Each episode will feature a ‘big star’ hosting a dinner party
for four of their fab friends and we can all watch.

Not sure yet whether this will have quite the same addictive nature as the UK version, but it’ll be interesting to see if the celebs involved are actually known names and if they even cook for themselves.
