Great news for fans of Samantha Who star Christina Applegate. The sitcom star will be presenting at this years Emmy awards after undergoing a double mastectomy earlier this year when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
As well as being a presenter, she’ll also be hoping to walk away with an award herself for her role in Samantha Who – a well deserved nod to someone who finally seems to have found their niche in TV. She’ll be getting reconstructive surgery within the next few months, so landing an Emmy nomination and perhaps a win is sure to sweeten the recent trauma she’s been through.
Other presenters at this years show include Jimmy Kimmel, David Boreanaz and Kiefer Sutherland and it looks set to be a battle between some old favs and some delicious new shows.
