It was one of the highlights of the Emmys for me to see the lovely Christina Applegate looking healthy and vibrant during the show.
When her cast mate Jean Smart picked up the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress at the Emmys, she took the opportunity to praise Applegate by stating “The answer to the question Samantha Who? is Christina Applegate – I love you. I adore her and she sets the tone for the most amazing brilliant hilarious cast in the world”.
Applegate has recently battled breast cancer by having a double mastectomy and recently returned to the show that has brought her back to the forefront of the TV audience. She looked gracious and happy last night and hopefully her and her fellow cast mates will continue on with the show for some time to come.
