Michael Chiklis of The Shield looks set to take up the superhero banner again (remember he played Ben Grimm in Fantastic Four), this time in TV pilot No Ordinary Family. The show sees a family getting to grips with having superpowers… sounds like it could be fun. It’s been picked up by ABC in pilot form, so here’s hoping it’s good.
If you’re thinking live action Incredibles, you’re not the only one, it certainly does have that ring to it doesn’t it. Sounds though like No Ordinary Family will take the drama route, which is good given the Chiklis charm. On the upside Greg Berlanti is involved, he of Brothers & Sisters, Eli Stone, Everwood and Dawson’s Creek fame. Seems like this exec producer has an eye for something special, so fingers crossed.
