Celebrity Quitters - A reality show about quitting smoking

File this one under WTF! Channel Five UK has commissioned a reality series about “celebrities” trying to quit cigarettes. The show titled “Celebrity Quitters” will feature a few ‘famous’ faces including Derek Acorah, best known for speaking with ghosts in Most Haunted. Paul Danan, most famous for being a bit of an actor and a bit of an idiot. Linda Robson, her from Birds of a Feather. John Burton Race, that chef guy who opened a little place by the sea and lastly, one Chloe Madeley, most famous for being the offspring of Richard and Judy.

Sounds like a bit of a drab bunch with a drab premise, but people do seem to love watching people in pain and if giving up smoking is half as hellish as I’m told it is, this lot are in for some pain. The show will run over ten weeks and starts January 18 on Channel 5 UK.
