Is it just me or are there already enough doctors, lawyers, cops shows on television? Apparently it is just me since TNT are about to greenlight two police dramas for their network.
With the recent success of outstanding show The Closer, the people at TNT are about to give the go ahead to a project from Jerry Bruckheimer about hot young undercover officers in the LAPD. As well as this, they’re close to agreeing to the pilot of Bunker Hill, a show set in Boston that will explore crime and corruption there. Bunker Hill was formerly known as Morse Code and will star Donnie Wahlberg as one of the lead characters.
Thankfully it’s not all cops for TNT though. They’ve also snapped up Time Heals starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Night and Day starring William Fichtner. Sadly though, both shows are centered around guess what? – yup you got it, hospitals or other legal organizations of some description. On the upside I guess that new scripted drama shows are better then unscripted reality garbage!
