Black Adder Reunion (aka Blackadder), three words that apparently sent chills through the star of the series Rowan Atkinson. Mr Atkinson you see won’t be appearing in upcoming UKTV Gold’s ‘Blackadder: The Whole Rotten Saga’ and ‘Blackadder’s Most Cunning Moments. Apparently Rowan Atkinson is a very private person and declined to appear.
I always think actors that do this are… well… a bit full of themselves shall we say. The Blackadder series was my first comedic taste of Atkinson, as it may have been for many, so for him to snub a show that essentially made him reeks of sour grapes. Ahh yes, he rides a pitch black steed and is very bad indeed. All the other stars and producers appear to have signed up, including Baldrick actor Tony Robinson.
The shows will features interview with the stars and writers to celebrate the shows 25th Anniversary.
