NBC’s ‘Biggest Loser Couples’ debuted Tuesday to around 10.4 million viewers, the highest ratings ever for a Biggest Loser debut. As the title suggests, the series follows dieting couples as they all vie for the title of ‘Biggest Loser’-the winner of which is the couple with the best combined weight loss.
The Biggest Loser 5 delivered the heftiest Nielsen rating ever for a Biggest Loser premiere, according to “fast affiliate-based” “live plus same day” viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. Excluding finales, this is the top-rated “Biggest Loser” telecast in adults 18-49 since the penultimate telecast of the first “Biggest Loser” cycle on January 4, 2005.
Popular trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels are back, along with Alison Sweeney. Me.. Well I only really watch these shows for Jillian Michaels, she’s captivating and just seems so lovely, even when she’s screaming in someone’s face.
