If you’re a fan of “Big Brother”, social network Twitter can be a lot of fun, because the fans come out in droves to live Tweet opinion, often funny, sometimes insightful. With “Big Brother Australia” back this week after switching networks I loaded my personal Twitter account after months away, I wasn’t disappointed, the snark was flying thick and fast, as was the douchebaggery.
The Twitter led douchebaggery comes in the form of what I have termed the #TVNazis these are Twitter users who ‘tell’ you what you should and shouldn’t watch on television. They also try and make you feel stupid for your viewing choices. I’m not sure what they get out of deriding other users, perhaps it makes them feel superior, whatever the case they are douchebags.
