Looks like Aussie writer-director-producer Baz Luhrmann is about to step away from the big screen into a little foray with the small. Luhrmann has signed a two-year deal with Sony Pictures TV in which he will produce new content with the help of his creative and producing partner / wife Catherine Martin.
Luhrmann is probably most famous for his movies “Romeo + Juliet” and “Moulin Rouge!”. More recently Lurhmann has been working on a series of shorts, though he also has the big screen version of “The Great Gatsby” coming out next year starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Isla Fisher.
