Yay! More Battlestar news for fans of the show who are currently suffering from anxiety that it’s months before the second half of the season screens! You may recall we covered this rumor awhile ago, well now we’ve got more info.
After the success of Razor and the DVD sales it ultimately brought, it looks like there may be more feature length episodes of some of your favorite shows, with Battlestar being the main one. The new Battlestar prequel movie will air after the show finishes its final season next year and will be directed by none other than Edward James Olmos – Adama himself!
He’ll be working with a script written by Jane Espenson and at the moment confirmed stars are Tyrol (Aaron Douglas), Cavil (Dean Stockwell) and Anders (Michael Trucco). What we already knows is that their story will focus on the time just before the Cylon destruction of Caprica. Sounds pretty exciting and if it’s featuring Tyrol and Anders, looks like we’ll be finding out more about their history as Cylons.
