If you’re a regular viewer of NBC show Friday Night Lights, then you might not like the following rumor. Apparently the drama will end after its fifth season. The season is due to halt production in June with the shows current fourth season debuting on NBC on April 30.
There have been rumors circulating about the show for a while, since main star Taylor Kitsch announced that he wouldn’t be returning as a full-time cast member in the new season. Although the show continues to be popular, it looks like it’s time has finally come. Hopefully they’ll go out on a high, wrapping up the storyline to please fans. Season five is likely to appear on NBC sometime in 2011.
