Dichen Lachman has had quite the career since leaving Aussie soap “Neighbours”, she’s appeared in Joss Whedon series “Dollhouse”, “NCIS: Los Angeles”, “Hawaii 5-0″, “Torchwood” and “Being Human”. Now she’s snagged a new gig, in Shawn Ryan’s new ABC pilot “The Last Resort”.
Lachman will play Tani Tumrenjak, the daughter of an elder on the island where the show is set. The plot revolves around the crew of a U.S. nuclear submarine who disobey orders and end up setting up their own nation. It will also star Aussie Daisy Betts.
