Lifetime have confirmed that Army Wives will be back for a fourth season. The predominately female viewership has continued to keep the ratings strong and the well-acted engaging storylines keep it interesting.
Army Wives is actually Lifetime’s most successful series ever which means that it’ll no doubt continue to be around for a while. It’s one of those shows that people probably either love or have never heard of, but it does continue to deliver gripping insights into the life of an army wife.
Season three will be shown this June meaning that being picked up already is a sure sign that the network are backing the show. Here’s hoping it we see more of Roxy, who is by far one of the cooler characters on TV right now.

I am a Army wife. My soldier leads the convoy in his infantry COB in Afganistan. The final show in season 3 really touch home with me. I love this show because it reveals the spouses daily insite as a military spouse. Joan is one of my favorite actresses. In reality, I am her husband Rolland. Dealing with deployments stinks… It’s a real emotional roller coaster. One minute your sad, one minute your happy, one minute your praying and the nest minute your crying, while waiting for a safe return for your soldier. My prayer is a safe return of all our soldiers…

Missing my man like crazy. Its hard at times but this show is so addicting and gives me that cry I just need from time to time. Other times it gives me hope beyond any explanation. Its hard though. Like when he told me he was now a gunner right after the episode of Jeremy’s friend dying. My heart is overseas.

I’ve been a Navy wife for almost 9 years now. I have been watching Army Wives since the first show. I happen to think it’s an AWESOME show! This shows gives you some insight into the life of a military spouse. I can’t wait for season 4.

I love the show Army wives!! It really touches my heart. I am a wife and mother of three girls with another child (hopefully the boy) on the way. My husband is joining the air force and is suppose to leave in January. It will be the first time we have ever been away from each other and I am scared. I know our marriage is strong enough to make it through anything. I am just worried about the tears from him not being there in bed with me or there when i have a bad day or just there by my side period. He is doing this for us though and for himself and his country . I am so proud of him more than i have ever been. I just forsee the emotional rollercoaster this will be.

I love Army Wive, I’m a Army brat and future soldier in the making, I love how this show grasps some of the day to day drama on posts, especially when it comes to families, having a deployed mother (father in my case) and having to cope with ptsd as a family, and how important our soldiers are and how they do us a great honor!
BTW Denise and Frank, Joan and Roland are the favorites over here where i’m from, can’t wait to see what happens this next season, YAY!!!!
I´m not an army wive, but even so, the show always moves me and makes me think about our soldiers, they are realy courages, I just love to think that they are deployed for a greatter good to fight for peace and look for love…I hope all of them come back home save and all of there familys could be at last complete and happy (forgive my english I´m from south america but still I pray for each one of the soldiers in the war God bless them)

Awesome can’t wait for the season to start. I just got the book Army Wives and been reading it in between seasons. My husband just got out the Air Force two years ago. I honestly missed everything about the military and the peace we had.
I love Army wives. I have seasons 1 and 2 on dvd and am waiting for the 3rd one to come out on dvd. I have watched every episode and can definitely relate to all the the spouses in different ways. My husband is now medically retired from the Army from injuries in Iraq but is currently deployed with the State Department and it has been a long and very hard year.

Im an Aussie with no connection to the military, but just LOVE this show. Season 1 has just shown down here in Oz but I couldnt get enough and have just finished watching Season 2 and 3 online. Bring on season4!!!!
My husband and I love this show so much we can not wait till season 4. My husband is in the military and it is like watching your life on tv. It also helps you out with dealing with them being gone and watching it together even when you might not be in the same place. We can not wait for it !!!!!!!!
This show is awesome entertainment but doesnt really depict what a true army wife goes through. Needless to say i am addicted to this show and so is my hubby who thankfully isnt getting deployed anytime soon. HOOAH to all you military wives and husbands out there..and to our men and women fighting for our freedom everyday!!..we have alot to be thankful for and im proud to be an army wive..i would never trade anything for it.

Let me just say, I LOVE this show! The plots of each episode are actually things that we as military spouses, or family members, have to deal with on a day to day basis. My favorite character has to be either Roxy or Pamela! Roxy knows what she wants, and is determined to obtain it! I admire, and even envy that. Pamela is the one I feel like I can most relate to. I’m in the dark about most of what goes on with my Soldier’s job. I feel for her as a character.
I am, as many of you are, an Army girlfriend/fiancee. My Soldier has been on two previous deployments, and is about to go on his third. As of right now, he is stationed about 1100 miles away; watching Army Wives made me realize that I am not alone in this. Now, I’m not sure when Season 4 comes out, but I hope & pray that it’s soon!

OMG you people are so dramatic. It is a very good show and I know it was very hard for the really army wives to always be on costant alert. and not know what their loved one is going thru must be very difficult too. but it is also dificult for the mother, the sister, and all the family member of that person. I do appreciate the fact that they are putting their lives on the line for my freedom. But it was their choice too. and for those of you who are only girlfriends thrust me don’t compare yourselfs to a wife please. and dont think that live as an army wive is going to be as easy as a TV show. you have no idea the ride you are about to take. Im also looking foward to the begining of the season 4

my husband is former USMC and now in the washington national guard and in may going active army. i havent gone through a deployment yet but just the 4 yrs of being together i know being a military spouse is not easy and i love how this show tells the good and bad of this life. i hope this show stays on for much longer! the characters and storylines r great!!!

I’m an Army Wife also and it is so so so hard when they are deployed! Especially the day they have to leave! It’s got to be the hardest for me! But I love this show! I have never been into a show like I am this one! I have literally cried over every single episode. It is so emotional and so real like. Everything I see is everything I have been through. I can’t wait until April 11th so I can find out if Jeremy really killed himself. I will be so upset if he did! I felt so bad when i heard that gun shot! I know it can be hard to lose somebody close to you while in combat. Thats always one of my biggest fears with my husband. Plus worrying about if he is okay! And not hearing from him for days! But I really hope Jeremy is okay!

Season 4: Sun., April 11 at 10 pm et/pt
As a military wife for more than 20 years and now retired, I can really relate to this show and what the wives go through. My husband was an Air Force officer and my sister’s husband was an Army officer. There were and still are differences in the branches, but they are basically the same. One area where this show is not accurate in depicting the way life is that a base/post commander’s wife would never be close friends with a low ranking NCO’s wife such as Roxy. It just doesn’t happen. Even when Frank was a major, he and Denise would not be in the same social circle with the commander and his wife. It’s not a question of snobbery, but one of having the same interests. Also officers and their wives don’t socialize with couples who would come under his or her command, and there are very good reasons for that. Roxy’s husband’s low rank would have kept him from securing base housing. That’s another issue where the show isn’t correct. So if any of you who are going to be military wives think you will be having a close relationship with the base/post commander’s wife, it won’t happen. I must say, military life was the best life ever. Even my boys who are adults now have commented many times about how valuable a learning experience it was to be a “military brat” (I hate that term!) You will find that military friends will be the best you will ever have. Enjoy all that the life has to offer!!!
