Yet more rumors are floating around surrounding showbiz daddy Jeff Archuleta. Seems that he’s been banned from backstage at American Idol for being far too intrusive with vocal coaches, the band, other contestants and the producers.
Needless to say, nobody over at the Idol set is letting much out about this one, but it just won’t go away. We’re all too familiar with showbiz moms and dads pushing their kids too far, but could it be that Mr Archuleta is finally going to push Simon Cowell too far?
You’ll still be able to see Jeff smiling away proudly from the audience next time David is up on stage singing live, but no more backstage visits for him from now on. He’s not allowed to get involved in any of the shows preparation stages or rehearsals so how will this pressure affect young David in the ratings and in his own performances?
