A friend told me to catch some Community spirit and check out Community. Given I write about TV shows, it seemed odd to said friend I had missed this “brilliantly funny” series. Well I’ve played a little catchup and I’m not so sure.
Whilst NBC’s Community does have some moments of sheer comedy genius, it’s not – in my opinion – on par with something like ABC’s Modern Family, that never fails to make one laugh out loud. Community on the other hand reminds me more of Better Off Ted, a show that had its moments, but failed to be a giggle a minute. What do you guys think of Community? I have to say though, despite me not finding it as hilarious as my friend suggested, I do like the casting of Chevy Chase as Pierce Hawthorne and Ken Jeong as Senor Chang.
