Amy Smart is the New Medium/Ghost Whisperer

Amy Smart is set to star in a new CBS drama entitled ‘Meant to Be’s’. The show is being created by Glenn Gordon Caron, he of Medium fame and not surprisingly, it sounds a little bit like Medium crossed with The Ghost Whisperer.

Although the show is being touted as a romantic drama, it actually focuses on Amy playing the lead character of Janine, a rich gallery owner who is thrown from the balcony of her 40th-floor New York high rise apartment on the way to her honeymoon. This has a dramatic turn of events on her ‘life’ of course and the show is about her trying to reach Heaven. In order to do so, she has to help others find their true path on Earth.

Amy is a pretty decent young actress and certainly has the ability to carry a role. Her best friend Ali Larter is starring on the hit show Heroes at the moment and it’s about time Amy became more of a household name.
