Amanda Overmeyer – American Idol DUI

Oh here we go, let’s dig dirt on those poor folk on American Idol. No not me, I like Amanda Overmeyer, but I don’t like morons that drive whilst drunk, so I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place here. Isn’t she a nurse for crying out loud, shouldn’t she know better than to drink and drive, or maybe she’s never worked in an ER.

Apparently Amanda was busted in October 2006 for DUI. She did the crime and the time, which amounted to 60 days probation and community service. Given anyone can make a mistake, I guess we’ll forgive her because she’s so rockin, or was so rockin. Did anyone see this weeks performance where she murdered Carry on My Wayward Son by Kansas, holy cow, what the hell happened she looked awful and sounded way worse?
