If you’re a fan of villainous multi-billionaire Adam Chandler (and brother Stuart though he’s dead so, no biggy) in US soap All My Children, be prepared to wave him goodbye. Actor David Canary who has played Adam Chandler since 1983 has decided not to renew his contract with the show.
It sounds like the shows relocation to Hollywood might be behind the decision. Canary’s daughter let the news of his departure out via Twitter, though there’s been no official word from ABC, other than from the creator of the show confirming it. Canary has taken home a whopping five Daytime Emmy’s for the role, so at least he’ll be able to keep them polished now he’ll have more spare time.
