Sorry to be the bearer of bad news “Breakout Kings” fans, but there will be no third season. A&E has cancelled the show only two weeks after season two concluded. Co-creator Matt Olmstead has already moved on to his next project, that of running NBC fireman drama series “Chicago Fire”.
On the upside, you did get two seasons of a series that was originally passed on by Fox and then shunted around and finally picked up by A&E. Here’s hoping the cast have all got new gigs soon.
