Great news for fans of the ABC show Castle. They’ve just renewed for a second season, against all odds, as most people had counted it out as a one season wonder. ABC hasn’t revealed how many episodes they’re committing to yet and officially they haven’t said exactly that it’s been renewed, but trust us, it has and they’ll officially announce it on Tuesday May 19.
The shows plot centers around Richard Castle, a crime writer who is played by Nathan Fillion. His ongoing antics and interaction with police officer Kate Beckett, played by the adorable Stana Katic make the show interesting in an amusing teenage sexual tension kind of way.
There’s no great surprise that the premise focuses not only on crime, but also on their relationship and although it’s a common theme for a number of male/female TV shows, it’s still done pretty well and has some sharp and witty dialogue. Great news for fans of the show! Let’s hope that the renewal is worthwhile! Oh and it’s on in Australia also, in case you missed that post.
