Ab Fab Gets a US Makeover? Sweetie dahling! This is so wrong!

Okay, we get why some shows are recreated for the US market. The Office has done pretty well after a shaky start, Little Britain USA is doing ‘OK’ also, but Absolutely Fabulous…. Really, does it even need a US make-over?

It seems that the creative brain behind Arrested Development is making an Ab Fab remake for Fox. Now, maybe I’m living on a cloud here or something, but isn’t Ab Fab already a worldwide phenomena as it is. Does it really need to be remade?

Roseanne Barr already tried to remake it once before and it totally bombed, but at least she tried to get the original creators and co-stars in on it. Even that didn’t make it however, so it seems unlikely this will be a hit. To be honest, I’d actually prefer it wasn’t in a weird way… Time will tell I guess sweetie dahling, time will tell.
