90210 losing fans fast?

Ok, I’ve tried to stick with the new 90210 and I will probably continue to do so until the end of the season, but it’s obvious to most that the best part of the new 90210 is the fact it has the original actresses in it.

The upcoming storylines with Brenda and Kelly look like they’ll be far more interesting than the whiny backwards stories of the other new characters. It would seem that every girl in the show is more than happy to screw over the other girls to get a guy and is also so low in self-respect that she’ll get with a guy who has either cheated on her previously, has another girlfriend or isn’t that interested in her.

Yawn, isn’t this all a little passé? Is this the kind of portrayal of young girls we want to put out there? The only redeeming character in the show is Silver who seems like she has her head screwed on right – at least she did until she dated ‘too good to be true’ Dixon. Come on, bring the show up to date or at least dump the young bores and give us more Kelly and Brenda.

Mind you being women they’re going to be incapable of loyalty and they’ll be screwing each other over too no doubt… yawn!
